Such a true quote! Honestly, those who wish for immortality haven't spent the time or the energy thinking about what they would do if they were or else they might of done it already! Many say life is short, but its pretty long, we just see it in short because naturally we lose our memory over time and we don't remember all the hours we sat around doing absolutely nothing. A rainy Sunday afternoon wouldn't really effect my line of work or my schedule in any way possible so I wouldn't be too upset with one, but most people who find themselves active and longing to be outside might just be bummed by the rain. There are many people who long for immortality, but there are very few that actually deserve it. Martin Luther King, he is a perfect example of someone who deserves immortality, he would devote his life in such a way to eventually find equality for everyone because he wasn't only for the equality of the African Americans, but for everyone as a whole. There are many who may deserve immortality, but the number are few, the amount that out weights them is many.
